Benefits
We pay a base salary of $60,000, or the prevailing wage for your assignment, whichever is greater. Base salary is always paid monthly with a one pay-period lag.
Medical Coverage
We offer a top quality medical plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield
 
Dental Coverage
Tulip Careers offers supplemental dental coverage from Guardian Insurance.
 
Disability Coverage
We offer both short-term and long-term disability coverage from Met Life.
 
401(k)
To help you meet your long-term financial goals, Tulip Careers has established a 401(k) plan.
 
 
The program works like this: Tulip Careers deducts a flat 12% to cover employer payroll taxes and administrative costs from the employee's share of the bill rate. After the deduction, gross salary is 80.36% of the bill rate minus elective benefit costs, which are deducted prior to payment.
We pay a bonus salary equal to the difference between your 90% rate (minus the cost of employer payroll taxes) and the base salary. The bonus salary is paid after receipt of payment from the client. Tulip Careers consultants are responsible for all expenses (travel, relocation, etc.), but you may negotiate for reimbursement directly with the client.
 
  Medical Coverage
 
The medical plan is a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plan provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield. No primary care physician is necessary. $20.00 co-pay per doctor visit. Drug benefit: $20.00 - formulary; $10.00 - generic. Vision coverage is included.
Dental Coverage
The dental plan is a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plan provided through Guardian Insurance. The plan offers 100% coverage for preventative such services, as cleanings (once every six months) and x-rays.
After a $50 yearly deductible, the plan provides 80% coverage for basic services, such as root canals and extractions. After a $50 yearly deductible, the plan provides 50% coverage for major services, such as crowns and dentures.

You can buy up to 60% of your basic weekly earnings from $100 up to a $1,000 maximum.
Choose the right amount of coverage based on your monthly earnings.
Coverage becomes effective the first day of the first month after joining the company.
Covered disabilities include sickness, pregnancy or accidental injury.
You must be under a doctor's care for payments to begin. Pre-existing conditions do apply.
Disability pay begins after 90 calendar days and continues until you are no longer disabled, or reach age 65.
The amount must be in $50 increments. Coverage becomes effective the first day of the first month after joining the company.

Disability payments begin after 7 working days and end after 13 weeks of disability.
   
401(k) Plan
The plan is administered by DAC (www.dailyaccess.com).
You can select from a variety of funds offered by American Funds.
You contribute to the plan through regular payroll deductions.
Tax savings are added to the account.
You pay taxes on earnings only when withdrawn.
